Book Ordering

Book Ordering Basics

Order Form

You will need to provide basic information about your course and each text you include in the order. If you would like to provide additional information, there is also space for that.

It's important:

  • that the information is as clear and complete as possible.
  • to include any requests for desk copies on this form.

1xxx-3011 language instructors: Your coordinator will order the books.

If your class will not be using any textbooks: Just fill out the first box of the form and email to: [email protected].

If you are using the EXACT same books from a recent term (including the same editions): Email us ([email protected]) that information; include the designator & course number and the term and year that you taught it. If you are wondering what books you (or a colleague) ordered in the recent past, see the Google Drive folder 'Book Order Records.' Files are named by Course Designator & Number - Course Term - Instructor / Coordinator, where the course term is:

  • Year-2 = Spring of [Year]
  • Year-3 = Summer of [Year]
  • Year-5 = Fall of [Year]

If you have any changes to the previous book order, please fill out the form instead.

Target Dates for Submitting Textbook Orders

  • Summer: ~ March 10
  • Fall: ~ May 1
  • Spring: ~ October 3

Desk Copy Basics

Desk Copy Requests

Please request desk copies on your book order form. The earlier we get the information, the more likely you will have the desk copy when you need it.

Use the comments field on the form to clarify any special circumstances.

Please do not abuse this system. It is not permissible to order desk copies that you do not need or give them to students.
