In the spring, the department invites instructors to nominate undergraduates they have had in class for academic achievements awards. Since the pandemic, there has not been an in-person event, but students are sent personalized award letters.
For the 2022-23 academic year, please nominate students by Tuesday, April 18 using the 2023 Undergraduate Recognition Nomination Form.

May I recognize a student who is not majoring or minoring in GSD?
Yes! Any undergraduate in your classes may be recognized.
May I recognize a graduate student who is enrolled in one of my undergraduate classes?
No. This event is just for undergraduates.
Can I recognize a student who was recognized in a previous year?
You may recognize any student who has earned it, even if they have been recognized in the past or are being nominated by others.
